The Belknap nunatak is a nunatak on Thurston Island off the coast of West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 10 km west-northwest of Shelton Head from the icy Prickly Ridge on the south coast of the island.
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after William Belknap, field research assistant at Byrd Station from 1964 to 1965.
