Prickly Ridge (English for thorn ridge ) is an icy ridge in the south of Thurston Island off the Eights coast of west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 4 miles west of Shelton Head . The Belknap Nunatak is its highest point.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names gave the formation its descriptive name in 2003.
