The Bellisime Glacier is a 6 km long glacier on Thurston Island off the coast of West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows east of the Myers Glacier in a southerly direction to the Abbot Ice Shelf in Peacock Sound .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Lynda Bess Bellisime (* 1943), as a team member of the United States Geological Survey high-resolution in the 1990s in the creation of map material from AVHRR measurements and based on Landsat satellite images of the Siple Coast was involved .
