The Myers Glacier is an 11 km long valley glacier on Thurston Island off the coast of West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows from Mount Noxon in a south-westerly direction to the Abbot Ice Shelf in Peacock Sound .
Its position was determined from aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy VX-6 squadron in January 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Lieutenant Dale P. Myers, a helicopter pilot aboard the USCGC Burton Island during the US Navy's research expedition to the Bellingshausen Sea in February 1960.
