Mount Noxon is a mountain on Thurston Island off the Eights coast of West Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Walker Mountains, it rises at the head of the Myers Glacier .
Its position was first determined from aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy during Operation Highjump (1946–1947) in December 1946. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1960 after Winfred Charles Noxon (1921-1965), navigator on the reconnaissance flights of the US Navy squadron VX-6 to create aerial photographs of this area in January 1960.
