Belshina is a Belarusian car tire manufacturer based in Babruysk , a large Belarusian industrial city . Belshina is a subsidiary of the Belneftekhim industrial group .

The factory produces more than 180 different tire sizes for cars, trucks, mining trucks, tractors, road construction and electric vehicles . More than 90 percent are radial tires . The construction and design of the pneumatic tires are protected by patents . Belshina delivers to more than 40 countries. The turnover for the first half of 2004 was given with approximately 80 million US dollars .

Belshina also has a football team , FK Belshyna Babrujsk ( Belschina Bobruisk ), which is very well known in Belarus and the rest of the CIS countries.

The establishment of Belshina goes back to Decree No. 299 of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of March 25, 1953 ( On Steps to Better Use of the Workers of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic ) and Declaration No. 90-p of the Supreme Soviet of June 11, 1965 which approved the planning for the construction of the plant, which began in September 1965.
