Belvedere is a district of Genoa (II Centro Ovest) in the west of the city and a mountain hill with a former fortification to the north of Sampierdarena . The extended city wall of the old port city of Genoa was built here on the ridge above the Polcevera River to the north.

The quarter had 8,627 inhabitants in 2013.

The metro line in Genoa from the Rivarolo-Brin station a little north of the district in the Polcevera Valley via Dinegro and to Principe station crosses under the ridge without stopping.
