The Ben Chonzie ( Scottish Gaelic Beinn a 'Chóinnich , "top of the moss") is a 931-meter-high mountain in the Council Area Perth and Kinross in Scotland . It is one of the Munros and lies in the extensive moorland and heathland between Crieff and Loch Tay , the highest point of which it represents.

In contrast to many other Munros, Ben Chonzie does not have a pronounced summit, its highest point is on a spacious grassy plateau and is only marked by a larger cairn . There are only a few steeper rock breaks to the east. The climbs from the neighboring valleys of Glen Turret and Glen Lednock also do not require any particular effort. The Ben Chonzie is therefore often rated as the "most boring Munro". The mountain and the surrounding valleys are known for a large population of mountain hares .
