Amine Bannour

Amine Bannour ( Arabic أمين بنور; * February 21, 1990 in Mahdia ) is a Tunisian handball player who is mostly used on the right back area.

The 1.97 m tall and 90 kg heavy left-hander began his professional career in Tunis in 2010 at Club Africain , with which he won the Tunisian Cup in 2011 and the Arab Champions League in 2012. He finished third in the CAHB Champions League in 2013. For the Super Globe 2012 he was loaned to the Saudi Arabian Mudhar Club, and in 2013 to the Tunisian club Étoile Sportive du Sahel . In the 2017/18 season he played for the French first division club Chambéry Savoie HB . He has been under contract with the Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest since summer 2018. With Dinamo Bucharest he won the Romanian championship in 2019.

With the Tunisian junior selection, Bannour won the bronze medal at the U-21 World Cup in 2011. In the same year he won bronze again at the Pan-Arab Games .

With the Tunisian national team he won the Carpathian Cup in 2010 and the African handball championship in 2012, where he was voted the best right back player. He participated in the 2012 Olympic Games , the 2016 Olympic Games and the 2013 World Cup. He won silver at the 2014 African Cup of Nations. By mid-December 2018, he played 137 international matches in which he scored 447 goals. In 2018 he won the African Championship again with Tunisia.
