Medal of Honor Bene Merito

Bene Merito is the highest Polish Medal of Honor awarded by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs . It has been awarded since 2009 to people who are particularly strong for Poland abroad.

Previous winners include Norman Davies , Gesine Schwan , Władysław Bartoszewski , Steffen Möller , Adam Małysz , Hans Bollinger (2014), Thomas Muggenthaler (2015), Alois Woldan (2019) and Stefan Drößler (2020).
