Benedict Frank (* 28. September 1980 in Berlin ) is a German Volleyball - coach .
Career
Benedikt Frank began as a trainer at TV Altdorf, with whom he rose from the district league to the regional league. At the same time he was active as a middle blocker at ASV Neumarkt, whom he briefly coached as a player-coach. In 2008, the native of Berlin switched to the second division club SV Lohhof , with whom he immediately achieved promotion to the first division . After relegation in the following season, Frank also looked after the club from Unterschleißheim in the 2010/11 season and was second division champion with Upper Bavaria for the first time in his coaching career . With the SVL A-Youth, Frank won the German championship in Münster after the team had defeated the host's team in the final . From May 2013 to February 2015 Frank took over the coaching position at Köpenicker SC . In the 2015/16 season, Frank was a technical trainer at USC Münster . From January to April 2017 he was a trainer at the Austrian SG TI-Volley Innsbruck . Frank has been a trainer at NawaRo Straubing since May 2017 . With a new concept, Frank led the team from Lower Bavaria into the 1st Volleyball Bundesliga . Since the 2018/2019 season, Frank has been represented with NawaRo in the 1st Volleyball Bundesliga.
