Benedikt (Bendix) von Ahlefeldt (born November 7, 1717 , † 1776 in Uetersen ) was the commandant of Heligoland and district administrator in Uetersen.

Life

Benedikt von Ahlefeldt was born in 1717 and was the son of the Privy Councilor and Chancellery President Benedikt von Ahlefeldt and his second wife Magdalena Sibylla, née Countess von Dernath (1695–1723). He was a Danish chamberlain and lieutenant in the Danish Guard and from 1748 Mayor in the "Fühn'schen Regiment". From 1753 to 1764 he was in command of Heligoland and then until 1772 district administrator in Uetersen, where he died unmarried in 1776.
