Benedikta Hintersberger

Benedikta Hintersberger OP (* 1941 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian , Dominican and former headmistress. She is the older sister of the CSU politician Johannes Hintersberger .

Life

After studying Catholic theology , Benedikta Hintersberger worked as an assistant at the chair for moral theology at the Catholic theological faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University . In 1977 she did her PhD there under Johannes Gründel to become Dr. theol. Benedikta Hintersberger belongs to the Dominican convent of St. Ursula in Augsburg . She headed the St. Ursula girls' secondary school in Augsburg, and from 1995 to 2005 she was the spiritual guide of the Catholic German Women's Association (KDFB) at the federal level. She is the prioress of her community in Augsburg .
