The former benefit house in Lauingen , a town in the Swabian district of Dillingen on the Danube , was built in 1786. The house on Herzog-Georg-Straße 1a / 1b is a protected architectural monument .

description

The house was originally built for beneficiaries of the St. Andreas charity . It was built in 1786 according to the plans of the city builder Johann Georg Launer. The two-story house with a hipped roof has ten to four window axes . A risalit extends over the four central axes on the street front . Above it is a large elevator dormer with a triangular gable , a rectangular loading hatch and an elevator beam. The corners of the house are stepped and rounded. The storeys are separated on the long side by a profile cornice that is raised in segments on the two doors. The doors have skylights from the 19th century and above them in circular medallions the Mohrenkopf from the Lauingen coat of arms.
