Beniamino Vignola (born June 12, 1959 in Verona , Italy ) is a former Italian football player .

During his active career he was a midfielder and was able to celebrate two European Cup victories.

Career

Beniamino Vignola began his career with the club in his hometown, Hellas Verona , for which he made his Serie A debut in 1978 . In 1980 he moved to US Avellino , where he was under contract for three seasons.

In the summer of 1983 Vignola was finally signed by the Italian record champions Juventus Turin . With Juve he won under coach Giovanni Trapattoni one Italian Cup , the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup , the European Champions Cup and the European Supercup . In the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, he even scored the decisive goal to make it 2-1 against FC Porto . He spent the 1985/86 season at Hellas Verona, the two following seasons again at Juventus.

In 1988 Beniamino Vignola moved to FC Empoli in Serie B , with which he could not prevent relegation to Serie C1 . At the end of the 1991/92 season Vignola ended his career in the C2 series with AC Mantova .
