Benjamin Berger
Benjamin Berger (born March 4, 1986 in Schwedt / Oder ) is a German actor .
Life
Benjamin Berger completed his acting training from 2004 to 2009 at the University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig . As part of his training, Benjamin Berger played in the 2007/2008 season at the Neuen Theater Halle, among other things in the plays Fight Club and Feuchtgebiete . From 2009 to 2011 he was engaged at the Deutsches Theater in Göttingen . At the beginning of the 2011/12 season he switched to the ensemble of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe . Here he played other protagonistic roles before moving to the Theater Bonn ensemble in 2013 .
He played 49 premieres in the last ten years, over half of them as a protagonist.
Since 2017 he has been a guest lecturer for acting at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig and since 2019 also at the Babelsberg Konrad Wolf Film University .
In 2015 he was nominated for Young Actor of the Year in NRW.
