Benjamin Leuschner

Benjamin Leuschner (* 1978 in Dresden ) is a percussionist and marimba player who lives in Essen / Ruhr .

Leuschner was trained in Wuppertal at the local branch for percussion instruments at the Cologne University of Music . He has given concerts with various ensembles in Europe and South Africa. In addition, he accompanied readings and other public events, both classical and contemporary. Since 2006 he has made guest appearances with the Chinese Guzheng player Chanyuan Zhao as Duo Silk Road . In a larger cast, both also played world premieres by Thomas Beimel .
