Lutz Lesle

Lutz Lesle (born January 17, 1934 in Cuxhaven ) is a German musicologist , university professor , librarian , author and publicist .

family

Lutz Lesle married the sculptor and painter Dietlind Petzold (* 1941) in 1967 . The childless marriage ended in divorce in 1979.

education

Lesle studied school music from 1955 to 1959 at the Hochschule für Musik in Hamburg, majoring in flute, and from 1960 to 1963 at the University of Hamburg German and musicology . In 1967 he graduated from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences with a diploma for public library services. In 1983 he received his doctorate with his dissertation The Music Critic - Reviewer or Animateur? Aspects of an audience-educational theory of action in music journalism for the Doctor of Philosophy (Dr. phil.).

Act

From 1968 to 1983 Lesle was director of the music library of the Hamburg public library and from 1973 to 1998 lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg in the library and information department. From 1984 to 2005 he was a lecturer at the Lübeck University of Music for music history and form studies . In 1992 the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Culture of Schleswig-Holstein awarded him the title of " Professor ".
