Poul oar
Poul Ruders (born March 27, 1949 in Ringsted ) is a Danish composer .
Life
Ruders is a trained organist and studied orchestration with Karl Aage Rasmussen . Ruder's first compositions date from the mid-1960s.
Ruder's compositional works include operas , orchestral works, chamber music , vocal music and solo music . He composes in a multifaceted style, from the Vivaldi persiflage of his first violin concerto (1981) to the explosive modernism of Manhattan Abstraction (1982).
In 2016 an asteroid was named after him: (5888) Ruders .
