Siebengebirge area

The area Siebengebirge is one of two wine fields in in § 3 , para. 1, no. 5 Weingesetz said wine region Rhein means . It is the only wine-growing area in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The Siebengebirge area only includes the Petersberg area . The lead municipality is Königswinter . The sloping-steep cultivation area is approx. 20 hectares in size. Viticulture is carried out in nine individual locations in the leading communities of Bonn , Königswinter, Niederdollendorf , Oberdollendorf and Rhöndorf, mainly on the south-west facing slopes of the Siebengebirge .
