Berek is a Croatian municipality in Bjelovar-Bilogora County . The administrative seat is the capital of the same name with almost 500 inhabitants.

The municipality of Berek had about 1700 inhabitants in 2001, 90% of them were Croatians . Within ten years, the population fell below 1500.
