Beres Hammond

Beres Hammond (born August 28, 1955 ) is a Jamaican singer and music producer .

Hammond began his vocal career in the mid- 1970s with the band Zap Pow . In 1987 he fled to the USA for political reasons and returned to Jamaica in the late 1980s and had his breakthrough on the Sleng Teng Riddim (produced by King Jammy , first digital riddim ). As the founder of Harmony House Music , he produces numerous songs with all the greats of the Jamaican music scene.
