Sitzendorf mountain church
The evangelical mountain church Sitzendorf in the municipality Sitzendorf in the district Saalfeld-Rudolstadt is one of the listed buildings in Thuringia .
The building site for the church was donated in the 1930s by the residents Paul Möller, Albert Höhnlein and the heirs of the master baker Sorge.
The chancel and the baptismal font were redesigned in 1979 by the Erfurt master goldsmith Helmut Griese, emphasizing the importance of the altar items and their sacred use.
In 1975 the organ builder Rudolf Böhm installed a new organ in the church , which has 7 registers , a manual and a pedal .
