The Berlin-crevasse field ( English Berlin Crevasse Field ) is a 16 km long, with crevasses Infused area in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It lies west of the Flood Range towering Mount Berlin .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1959 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it based on the name of Mount Berlin. Its namesake is Leonard Matt Berlin (1908-2004), who first visited the mountain in December 1940 as part of a sled team as part of the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941).
