The 1st Pool Billard Club Kreuzberg eV is a billiards club from Berlin - Kreuzberg founded in 1976 .
history
The 1st PBC Kreuzberg was founded on September 10, 1976. After the club barely managed to stay in the regional league in seventh place in 2007, it merged with the Berliner Billard Bären , who were relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga in the same year . Then they reached second place in the regional league, before being relegated to the fourth-class league in 2009 due to a league reform. There the club reached second place in 2011 and was able to prevail in the promotion games to the regional league, which is now played at the federal level. In November 2012, the club reached the semi-finals of the German 8-Ball Cup , in which they lost 5-0 to the eventual winner Colors Düsseldorf . At the end of the 2012/13 season, relegation to the league followed, which was followed by direct promotion a year later. In the 2014/15 season they finished seventh in the regional league and thus rose again to the major league. For the 2015/16 season, the club withdrew its team to the association league and finished fifth there. Since the second team from Kreuzberg reached first place, the club rose to the top division in 2016.
In 2010 the 1st PBC Kreuzberg hosted the Berlin Masters for the first time , which has been part of the German Tour since 2014 .

The PBV Rotes Tuch Berlin reached the final of the German 8-Ball-Cup in 2002 and was defeated by the BSF Kurpfalz . In 2003 they came in sixth place in the 1st Bundesliga , before being relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in eighth place in the 2003/04 season. In the 2006/07 season there followed with eighth place relegation to the Berlin Regionalliga. The club, which had been running under the name Berliner Billard Bären since 2005, then merged with the 1st PBC Kreuzberg.
