Frank Willner (born October 6, 1969 ) is a German pool player . In 2005 he was German men's champion and 2010 senior European champion .

Career

At the German Championship in 1998 Frank Willner achieved his first major successes with fifth place in 8-ball and ninth place in 14/1 . After he did not get past 13th place in 2004 , he became German champion in the 8-ball cup in 2005 in the final against Patrick Kämpfner . 2006 Willner finished ninth in 14/1 endlessly. At his last German men's championship, Willner reached 13th place in the 9-ball in 2008 . German Seniors Championship 2009 he came in 8-ball and 14/1 endlessly in ninth place. In 2010 Willner reached the finals in the 14/1 endless and in the 9-ball at the European Senior Championships . After losing to the Portuguese Henrique Correia in 9-Ball , he defeated him in 14/1 and thus became European Champion. At the German championship of the same year he won bronze in the 14/1 endless. In 2011 he finished fifth in 8-ball, 9-ball and 10-ball . At the Senior European Championships in 2012 Willner reached the final in 10-Ball , but lost it to Correia. In the same year he again achieved fifth place in three disciplines at the DM . After Willner had become European champion with the German senior team in August 2013, he won silver in 14/1 endless and bronze in 10-ball at the German championship in October . In 2014, however, he did not get past the quarter-finals in 9-ball.
