The 1933/34 season of the Berlin ice hockey championship was hosted by Sportgau II / III , which corresponded to the previous Brandenburg Ice Sports Association and from January or March 1934 was subordinate to the German Reich Association for physical exercises .

The Berlin ice skating club was again the champion , although it had lost one of the best players in Rudi Ball to the EHC St. Moritz . The Jew ball had like his brothers after the seizure of the Nazis to leave Germany.

In the German Cup 1934 in Schierke four Berlin teams competed. The SC Brandenburg became German champions for the first time .

Last year's runner-up, the Berlin EC, failed to appear three times; the games were counted as lost without goals for the EC. Without a sporting defeat, the EC ended up in 5th place.
