The Bermer is a 598.6 m high mountain in the Ruhla urban area in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .
The Bermer is located near the Rennsteig and extends in the east to the outskirts of Ruhla. The Bermer is one of the local mountains of Ruhla and has a popular excursion destination with the Bermerhütte, which can also be reached from the Lappengrund with the Mini-a-thür amusement park . Mining was practiced on the Bermer in the Middle Ages.
