Bernadette Bourzai
Bernadette Bourzai (born May 28, 1945 in Lapleau , Corrèze ) is a French politician of the Parti socialiste and teacher .
Life
Bourzai studied history and geography to become a teacher at the University of Blaise Pascal Clermont-Ferrand II and worked as a teacher in France from 1973 to 1998. From 2001 to 2004 she was mayor of Égletons . She was a member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2008 . She has been a Senator in the Senate since September 2008 .
