Bernard Bernstein

Bernard Bernstein (born March 16, 1899 in Kensington ; † October 24, 1963 ) was an English table tennis player who took part in two world championships and won bronze in the team competition in 1926.

Career

In addition to table tennis, Bernard Bernstein also played billiards . 1925/26 he won the table tennis championship in London. In 1926 he took part in the world championship. In the singles he lost in the first round against Dániel Pécsi (Hungary), and in doubles with his compatriot CG Mase he was eliminated immediately against the Austrians Paul Flußmann / Munio Pillinger . He was most successful in the team competition, where he won bronze behind Hungary and Austria.

At the World Cup in 1954 , he entered the individual competition again, but did not survive the qualifying round.
