Bernard Malaterre (born before 1972) is a French actor and director .

Life

Bernard Malaterre made his debut as an actor in 1972 alongside Maxence Mailfort in Frédéric II . He met Mailfort in the role of trade unionist in the film Le Loup-Cervier (1997). In Alain Resnais ' My Uncle from America (1980), he played Jean's father in flashbacks. This was followed by Fernand, alongside Miou-Miou , Gérard Lanvin , Henri Guybet and Michel Galabru in Georges Lautner's comedy Est-ce bien raisonnable? . As Fernand, he was an accomplice of the gangster Gérard ( Lanvin ), who has switched to the hotel business and Gérard is hiding with himself. In 1982 he played the young Frédéric at the side of Lise alias Claude Jade in Henri Helman's drama Lise & Laura (in the contemporary scenes, Michel Auclair takes on the role of Frédéric at the side of Laura, also Claude Jade). In Sortie interdite he played Gérard Blain's brother. Jacques Ertaud gave him the leading role in La terre et le moulin in 1984 . In the 1990s he had film roles ( Le jeu du renard ) and the role of Roger Gadin in the mini-series A Year in Provence .

In 1997, Bernard Malaterre made his debut as a director ( Des mouettes dans la tête with Michel Galabru ). After further films ( Ma terre , Amour, embrouille et balade ), the social drama Tiefschlag with the hip-hop musician Stomy Bugsy follows in 2005 .
