Bernard Mendy (born August 20, 1981 in Évreux ) is a French football player .

Career

society

The full-back started his professional career in Ligue 2 at SM Caen in 1998 . After two years, he moved in the summer of 2000 to the Parisian capital club PSG , where he was under contract until 2008, with the exception of the 2002/03 season where he was loaned to England to Bolton Wanderers and played 21 league games. His greatest successes there included winning the French runner-up in 2004 and winning the cup in the same year. After another cup success in 2006, the league cup victory in 2008 was Mendy's last title win for PSG.

On July 11, 2008, Mendy's move to the English first division promoted Hull City was announced, where he signed a three-year contract.

The defender played at Stade Brest from 2012 to 2014 . Mendy has been playing for Chennaiyin FC in India since the 2014/15 season .

National team

On May 20, 2004 Mendy came to his first use in the French national team . At that time opponent was the selection of Brazil . Before he was called up for the senior national team, he already played for the French U-21 team.
