Bernard Zitzermann

Bernard Zitzermann (born June 19, 1942 in Nice , † February 1, 2018 in Saint-Paulet-de-Caisson ) was a French cameraman .

Life

After studying at the film school in Vaugirard, Bernard Zitzermann worked as a camera assistant for Etienne Becker , among others . As head cameraman from 1973, Zitzermann soon earned a reputation as one of the leading cameramen in France. For the artist biography "Molière" he was awarded the "César" for best camera in 1978 . Since the 1990s, Zitzermann has also been involved in international productions.
