Bernardus Gerardus ten Berge
Bernardus Gerardus ten Berge (born September 10, 1825 in Alkmaar , † November 24, 1875 there ) was a Dutch landscape and animal painter.
Born the son of a goldsmith and silversmith, he learned the art of painting from his brother-in-law, the painter Pieter Plas . Following the example of his teacher, he mostly painted landscapes with grazing cows and sheep.
In 1862 he published a series of self-lithographed views of Alkmaar.
His sister Johanna Francina married the landscape painter Willem Vester on September 10, 1854 .
