Juan Plans Bosch

Juan Plans Bosch (born November 1, 1913 in Barcelona , † March 20, 1997 in Barcelona) was a Spanish cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Plans was a professional driver from 1930 to 1946 and only signed with Spanish teams. He had his greatest successes as a train driver . In 1933 he won the Spanish sprint championship for the first time . Until 1943 he was a total of seven times Spanish champion in this discipline. This series of successes was also achieved a few years later by Miguel Poblet , who was also seven times champion in the track sprint. He also competed in road races , but was unsuccessful except for two wins.
