Bernd Dobiasch (born June 3, 1957 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

From 1978 to 1980, Dobiasch, who had come from FV Weinheim , played at 1. FC Kaiserslautern , although the young striker did not get beyond the role of supplementary player. In his professional debut on October 21, 1978 against MSV Duisburg at his home in Betzenberg , he scored his first goal in the last minute to make it 2-1. He then moved to the third division club Offenburger FV , before moving on to league competitor SV Sandhausen after only half a season , with whom he became champions of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in the 1980/81 season . Then Dobiasch played one season at VfR Bürstadt in the Oberliga Hessen , as Hessen champions the team missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in the promotion round . In the summer of 1983 he moved to the Baden-Württemberg league club VfR Mannheim .

Dobiasch was a coach at Amicitia Viernheim in the mid-1990s , and later he worked there as a sports director. Since the beginning of 2009 he has been working in the same position at VfR Mannheim, and in summer 2010 he left the club again.

From 2002 Dobiasch worked - parallel to his former Bürstädter trainer Horst-Dieter Strich - as a DFB location trainer . After his engagement at VfR Mannheim he returned to the base work.
