Bernd Gries (born May 26, 1968 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Bernd Gries played with FC 08 Homburg twice for one season in the Bundesliga and four years in the 2nd Bundesliga . In 1993 he left the club and played for the Elversberg sports association and SV Rot-Weiß Hasborn in the following years .
As a trainer, Gries was in charge of the Saarland league club TuS Steinbach from 2000 to summer 2010 . In summer 2012 he took over the national league club FC Hellas Marpingen .
