Bernd Häusler

Bernd Häusler (born August 18, 1966 in Radolfzell on Lake Constance ) is a CDU local politician from Baden-Württemberg . From 2006 to 2013 he was mayor ( first alderman ) of Singen. Since October 2, 2013 he has been Lord Mayor of the large district town of Singen (Hohentwiel) .

Life

Häusler grew up in the southern part of Singen. He attended the Johann-Peter-Hebel-Grundschule and the Friedrich-Wöhler-Gymnasium in Singen, where he passed the Abitur in 1987. From 1987 to 1988 he did his basic military service in Immendingen. From 1988 to 1994 he studied administrative sciences at the University of Konstanz . After completing his studies, in 1994 he did an internship in the area of ​​"Economic Development and Controlling" at the city administration of Singen. In the same year Bernd Häusler got a permanent position in the area of ​​the main office of the city administration of Singen. A year later he took over the position of economic developer in Singen. In the second ballot on July 14th, Häusler was able to prevail with a turnout of almost 48% with 50.19%. He was supposed to take up his post on September 16, 2013, but the result of the election was appealed. However, this objection was rejected in August 2013. This means that the election is legal and Bernd Häusler was sworn in on October 2, 2013.
