Bernd Lindinger

Bernd Lindinger (born January 10, 1940 in Linz ) is a former Austrian politician ( FPÖ ), chemist and FPÖ regional manager. From 2001 to 2003 he was a member of the Austrian Federal Council .

education and profession

Lindinger attended elementary school in Pressbaum between 1946 and 1950 and then graduated from secondary school in Vienna from 1950 to 1958 . From 1958 he studied technical chemistry at the Technical University in Vienna and graduated in 1969 with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. and Dr. techn. from. He then did military service in 1970. Professionally, he then worked from 1970 to 1974 as head of the metal development laboratory at Ringsdorff-Werke Bonn-Bad Godesberg, and in 1975 he moved to Vienna as head of the central laboratory of Kapsch AG. He was employed by Kapsch until 2000 and then acted as regional manager of FPÖ Lower Austria between 2000 and 2001.

Politics and functions

Bernd Lindinger became a member of the Freedom Party and was involved as local party leader of the FPÖ Pressbaum from 1991. He was a member of the municipality of Pressbaum from 1995 and also acted as a member of the state party leadership of the FPÖ Lower Austria between 1991 and 1996 and in 1999. Furthermore, during this time he was a member of the regional executive committee of the FPÖ Lower Austria and in 1999 was a member of the federal party leadership of the Freedom Party of Austria. In 2000 he became a member of the regional party presidium of the FPÖ Lower Austria. Lindinger represented the Freedom Party of Lower Austria from June 28, 2001 to April 23, 2003 as a member of the Austrian Federal Council. There he was a member of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture and a member of the Finance Committee of the Federal Council. He also served as a substitute on the Committee on Women's Affairs, as a substitute on the Committee on Public Achievement and Sport, as a substitute on the Committee on Economics and Labor, and as a substitute on the Committee on Transport, Innovation and Technology.
