Berndt Rieger (born September 9, 1962 in Wolfsberg / Carinthia ) is a German doctor and writer .

Berndt Rieger is a doctor of medicine . After a long stay in the USA, he has been based in Bamberg as a specialist in internal medicine and naturopathy since 2001 .

In addition to medical advice, Berndt Rieger writes narrative works, poems and book reviews . In 1990 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . In 1994, as a story writer from Linz , he received a grant from the city of Linz .

The focus of his publications on medical topics is on alternative medical treatment methods such as homeopathy and Schüßler salts .
