Gernot Ragger

Gernot Ragger ( pseudonym : Karl Schöffmann , born October 26, 1959 in Wolfsberg / Carinthia ) is an Austrian writer and publisher .

Life

Gernot Ragger studied physics and philosophy at the University of Graz from 1978 . He has been a journalist and writer since 1988 . In 1989 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . Today he is head of the company "Der Wolf - Verlag & Agentur" based in the Wolfsberg cadastral community of St. Michael.

Gernot Ragger is a writer of novels , poems , plays and radio plays .

Gernot Ragger, who is a member of the IG Authors authors and the Carinthian Writers' Association , received a. a. 1985 the Ebenthaler literary price for prose and 1998 the literary advancement award of the state of Carinthia .
