Bernhard Baumgartner (cabaret artist)

Bernhard Baumgartner (born July 11, 1973 ) is an Austrian cabaret artist and radio presenter .

Life

Bernhard Baumgartner comes from Seekirchen am Wallersee , where he went to school and grew up. He gained his first experience at the theater between 1994 and 1997 at the Kleiner Theater Salzburg as an actor and assistant director .

He was then discovered during a casting for Hitradio Ö3 and moved to Vienna , where he worked for ORF . From 1997 to 2003 he shaped the comedy character Alois - his alter ego - the lunch show Ö3 meal in collaboration with Oliver Baier . He also acted as a moderator for Ö3's Beachmania events.

In 2004 Baumgartner went freelance as a moderator. From 2004 to 2008 he played the Kabud group's business cabaret , and since 2009 he has performed with his own programs. In 2011, the first version of the show was released under the title The Seriousness of Life and Me with management and economic topics. This was followed in 2014 in cooperation with Jürgen Vogl Financing Stars , and in 2015 together with Caroline Richards the program Bzw. - such a relationship theater .

Baumgartner and his daughter have been running the Geh Papa podcast since 2020 .
