Ralf Vielhaber (born February 14, 1963 in Recklinghausen ) is a German journalist and publishing director.

Life

Vielhaber attended a municipal high school, left school with the Abitur and then did 18 months of community service with a driver service for the disabled. He studied history and German studies (older and newer departments) in Marburg and Bonn and graduated in 1989 with a Magister Artium . During his studies, he worked for various daily newspapers such as the Marler Zeitung , the Bonner Rundschau and the Bonner General-Anzeiger .

From 1990 to 1992 he volunteered at the Weser Report in Bremen . In July 1992 he switched to the Fuchsbriefe specialist information service as an editor . He was initially responsible from Berlin for the New Federal States and Eastern Europe and during this time he established numerous contacts in these countries. In 1995 he was appointed publishing director and editor-in-chief for all publications published by the publisher. Since 2007 he has been managing director of the publishing house, which belongs to the Springer Science + Business Media publishing group. Main focus: party politics, financial and economic politics (national and international), investment strategies, private banking.

Vielhaber is a founding member and advisory board of the Center of Asset & Wealth Management at the University of Applied Sciences for Corporate Management (WHU) in Vallendar and a partner of the Private Banking Inspection Authority ( PBPI), of which Fuchsbriefe and the Institute for Quality Assurance and Auditing of Financial Services (IQF) are partners . Quanvest has also been associated since 2011 .

Vielhaber is a guest commentator on TV, radio and various magazines and newspapers. He is also a member of the board of the Finkenkrug Citizens' Association , which is committed to social integration and the maintenance of the townscape.
