Bernhard Bayer
Bernhard Bayer (born October 22, 1979 in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria ) is a German chess player .

Bernhard Bayer is a municipal civil servant by profession.
successes
In September 2007 he finished second in the 18th Casino Open in Seefeld in Tyrol . He has held the title of International Master since 2012 .
In Germany he plays for SK Weilheim , formerly also for TV Tegernsee in the second and first Bundesliga chess leagues . In Austria he played on the top board for SC Schwaz , and since the 2015/16 season he has played in the 1st Bundesliga for SK Absam .
He has held the title of International Master since February 2012 . His Elo rating is 2430 (as of October 2016), his highest rating to date is 2457, which he achieved in April 2014.
