Bernhard Gringmuth

Bernhard Gringmuth (born February 11, 1823 in Glogau , † February 8, 1884 in Berlin ) was a German Protestant theologian and politician .

Life

Born the son of a judicial secretary , Gringmuth studied Protestant theology in Breslau and Halle after attending grammar schools in Glogau, Görlitz and Liegnitz . During his studies he became a member of the Raczek Breslau fraternity in 1843/44 . He was ordained in 1855 and was then pastor in Konradswaldau in the Schönau district until 1871 . In 1871 he became pastor in Groß Kirchen in the district of Lüben . From 1862 to 1866 and from 1873 to 1882 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives (constituency in Liegnitz; Rechts / Grabow, later Left Center).
