Bernhard Haverkamp

Bernhard Haverkamp (born August 14, 1875 in Fürstenau ; † June 8, 1935 there ) was a German businessman and politician ( center ).

Haverkamp was the son of a coppersmith and was also a master coppersmith. In 1902 he started his own business. In 1903 he became a house owner. He remained unmarried.

On September 1, 1919, he replaced Hermann Rothert in the provincial parliament of the province of Hanover and left the parliament at the end of the 1921 electoral term. On March 30, 1932, he replaced Heinrich Bergmann in the provincial parliament and left the parliament in 1933.

In 1930 he became mayor of Fürstenau. With the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933, he was removed from the mayor's office.
