Bernhard Joachim Scholz (* 1969 in Mainz ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court .

After completing his military service, Scholz studied law at the universities of Freiburg , Münster and Mainz . After the first state examination , he worked as a research assistant at the University of Mainz with Friedhelm Hufen until 1998 . With a dissertation on municipal and administrative procedural law , he was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. He completed postgraduate studies at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer in 1999 with a master's degree. publ. from.

After the second state examination, Scholz worked as a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main . From May 2000 he worked as a judge at the Mainz Social Court . From 2007 to 2009 he was seconded to the Federal Ministry of Justice , from 2011 to 2013 to the Federal Social Court . In June 2014, he was appointed judge at the State Social Court of Rhineland-Palatinate .
