Bernhard Karl Stephan
Bernhard Karl Eusebius Stephan (born November 10, 1855 in Ostrowo ; † August 8, 1914 in Schomberg ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Stephan attended grammar school in Schrimm and studied law at the University of Breslau . In 1876 he was appointed court trainee and in 1881 received his doctorate in law from the University of Göttingen and appointed court assessor. From 1882 he was a lawyer in Breslau, from 1883 up to and including 1885 deputy general representative of a large Upper Silesian administration comprising agriculture, forestry, mining and industry. From 1886 lawyer in Beuthen and during this time also member of the district committee of the Tarnowitz district and the Chamber of Commerce in Opole . From 1895 he was also a notary.
From May 1892 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the German Center Party , from 1893 to 1898 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
