Bernhard Nebe

Bernhard Nebe (born July 5, 1957 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from the Hugo-Junkers-Gymnasium in Mönchengladbach in 1978 and doing civilian service, Nebe completed a degree in political and administrative sciences at the University of Duisburg , which he completed in 1985 with a degree in social science . He then worked in the city of Duisburg in the higher administrative service as personal assistant to the mayor until 1990 . He then headed the Duisburg-Süd district office until 1992. From 1992 to 1996 he was first deputy for a year and then city director of the city of Kamp-Lintfort . He then became district administrator for the Wesel district . At the end of 1999 he moved to the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia . There Nebe headed the Law and Administration department until 2005. He then became the division manager of the central services in construction and property management in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. From December 17, 2013 to June 30, 2017 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior and Local Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia .
