Bernhard Noltenius

Bernhard Diedrich Noltenius (born May 3, 1882 in Bremen ; † January 17, 1955 in Bremen) was a doctor and politician ( German People's Party (DVP), Bremen Democratic People's Party (BDV)) from Bremen and he was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

Noltenius was the son of the high school teacher Diedrich August Noltenius (1841-1918).

education and profession

Noltenius studied medicine in Göttingen and probably partly due to the University of Heidelberg , and his doctorate Dr. med. During his studies in 1901 he became a member of the Black Castle Association fraternity Germania Göttingen . He worked as a doctor in Bremen.

politics

Noltenius was in Bremen from 1920 to 1933 a member of the liberal German People's Party (DVP) and after the Second World War from 1946 in the Bremen Democratic People's Party (BDV) and from 1951 of the FDP .

During the Weimar Republic he was a member of the Bremen citizenship from 1920 to 1923 and again in 1933. He was then appointed to the Appointed Bremen Citizenship in 1946 and until 1951 he was a member of the citizenship of the BDV and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship.

Further memberships

After 1945 Noltenius was chairman of the state medical association and he was the first president of the Bremen medical association from 1948 to 1955 (†) . His successor in this office was Emil Zimmermann.
